We are regulated by Ofwat (The Water Services Regulation Authority) and adhere to the Codes of Practice and Guaranteed Standards for water companies. Our licence enables us to operate public water and sewerage networks under the Water Industry Act 1991, when we have been appointed by Ofwat as a New Appointments and Variation (NAV).<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\n\t\t\t\t\n\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t

A New Appointment and Variation (NAV) is made when a company is appointed by Ofwat to provide a water and\/or sewerage service to customers in an area which was previously supplied by the incumbent regional water provider.<\/p>\n

We are appointed by Ofwat, on a site-by-site basis, to provide water and\/or wastewater services; this is known as a New Appointment and Variation (NAV). We own and operate the water and wastewater network in these areas, providing services to customers including supply of water, wastewater services, metering, and billing. We have all the same duties and responsibilities as the previous statutory water company.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\n\t\t\t\t\n\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t
